Our Team

Kelly Victor-Burke, CEO

Majority owner of Burke Architectural Millwork, Kelly is the keeper of the company vision, and is a champion of innovative and disruptive thinking. Kelly's role in the company is front-end business operations; however, on some days, you can find her on the shop floor engaging with BAM employees, and even helping with the workload.

Kelly holds a terminal degree in Historic Preservation, where she developed her passion for historic structures and finish carpentry, and an undergraduate degree in tourism from Eastern Michigan University, where she has taught for more than 20 years and continues to teach. In her classes, she teaches business applications in the tourism industry. She's enthusiastic about applying her business skills to millwork manufacturing.

Barry Burke, President

As an owner and president of Burke Architectural Millwork, Barry is the head of client relations, estimating and project management. Barry is a hands-on president, as his hands help build every project that leaves our shop.

A native of the Galway City in the Republic of Ireland, Barry has been working in the architectural millwork industry for more than 20 years. Barry learned his trade from the best craftsmen in the Woodlawn Area of the Bronx: O'Brien Millwork, Grace Ryan & Magnus Millwork and Hi-Tech Interiors. He worked on many high-end projects throughout New York City and Connecticut before moving to Michigan. Now based in Metro Detroit, his work merges old world craftsmanship with the most innovative, efficient millworking techniques.

Barry is a licensed general contractor. In the shop setting, Barry worked his way up from working on a bench (his passion) — to estimator — to project manager overseeing large scale commercial projects across the United States. Establishing his own architectural millwork company has been a life-long pursuit. Barry's leadership and industry knowledge are paramount in the running of the company.
